In the film, Fred becomes Vice President and acts snobbish towards the Rubbles along with Wilma. The exact opposite happened in Fred's New Boss in the original Flintstones series where Barney Rubble becomes Fred's boss after Mr Slate makes him Vice President due to him being his nephew and both Barney and Betty act snobbish towards the Flintstones.
