Scott Glenn's involvement in this series marks the second time an actor playing Jack Crawford in the Hannibal Lecter films has appeared in a Marvel Comics adaptation. Laurence Fishburne has appeared in both I Fantastici 4 e Silver Surfer (2007) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). Three of the actors who played Hannibal Lecter himself have also been involved in Marvel films: Brian Cox appeared in X-Men 2 (2003), Anthony Hopkins in Thor (2011), and Mads Mikkelsen in Doctor Strange (2016).
