There are many disturbing scenes that occur in the original comic book that are removed from the film. In one such scene in the comic book, Stanley Ipkiss as The Mask, or better known as the Big Head Killer, got his revenge on his childhood teacher who was mean to him as a child. While the teacher was holding class and harshly chastising a young student for misspelling a word, he shows up and begins somewhat playfully berating her. Then, he violently smacks her to where she falls to the floor. Due to her old age, the teacher was easily injured and was seeking help from the same young child she chastised a moment earlier. He all of sudden suffocates her to death by shoving his foot into her mouth while mocking her in front of the mortified children.
