Lilián GarcÃa was hired as the ring announcer just an hour before her first episode. Garcia had auditioned to be a backstage interviewer and was under the impression that she was hired for that job. But just before show time, she was told that she would be announcing. Garcia met with veteran announcers Howard Finkel and Tony Chimel and had to quickly learn the basics.
