The Lamborghini Miura in the opening scene was an actual vehicle on the way to a customer - they swapped in black seats for the usual white so they wouldn't get damaged (but the white headrests were attached to the divider glass and couldn't be swapped for the film). However, the Miura destroyed in the crash is a different vehicle, one that had been in an accident and was too badly damaged to repair. If you watch the clip closely, you'll see there's no engine when the car breaks apart as it rolls down the cliff.
