Although the character of Bonkers D. Bobcat was originally conceived as the star of his own show, he ended up debuting in a theatrically released short called "Petal to the Metal (1992)" and and also appeared in a series of segments on "Raw Toonage (1992)" prior to the debut of his own show. He costarred with Jitters, Grumbles and Fawn Deer.
