Pearl's deranged smile that carries on through the end credits was unplanned, with Ti West refusing to call cut and let the emotions play out. Mia Goth's smile becomes more strained, a tear falls down her face and she even does an impatient head shake as she waits for him to call cut. The credits ended up being one of the more unnerving scenes of the film.
