In the opening scene on the Mushroom World, Eggman operates a Rube Goldberg machine utilizing natural resources of this planet in order to prepare coffee made from the mushrooms of this world. A Rube Goldberg machine is one which has an elaborate set of steps that operate in succession to perform a simple task.
