While in the film Rita is not sexualized in any way, earlier versions of the scripts included scenes which clearly did that to her character. One version from 2011 written by Joby Harold had entire action scene where Rita is out of the battle suit and during which she is almost fully naked, wearing only her underwear. There were similar scenes in other earlier drafts, like for example her showering or bathing while she and Cage are hiding in abandoned house before Mimics attack.
