The wizard robe worn by Gilligan in the third season "Lovey's Secret Admirer" episode was also worn by the Korob character ten months later in the second season "Catspaw" episode of Star Trek, the original series. So either the Trek wardrobe department borrowed it, even though the shows are produced by different studios, or they loved the design so much they copied it. [It is more likely the costume was rented by both production companies from one of the numerous costume warehouses in Los Angeles]
