Moon Moon Men was the first choice for the film. But she asked Subhash Ghai "Who is Jackie Shroff ? Not sure if i want to work with him.". This angered Ghai and he went on to sign Meenakshi Sheshadri. Moon Moon Sen quickly realized her mistake and signed Andhar Bahar with Jackie Shroff.
