Early indication of Abuela Alma's impossibly high demands on the family: before the ceremony she can be heard telling them to clean their rooms, "I don't care how big they are!", and giving them an hour to do so. Of the four rooms seen, one is a rain-forest (Antonio's), one is an eroding landscape of sand, stairs, and cliffs (Bruno's), and one is an immense floral garden (Isabela's). Which implies the other gifted Madrigal's rooms are equally fantastical. The nursery is the one normal bedroom where cleaning would even be feasible.
