Through marriage. Marie-Antoinette was a great-aunt of Napoleon I, Emperor of France (1769-1821, reigned 1804-1814, 1815). Her great-niece Marie Louise of Austria (1791-1847) was Napoleon's second wife and the mother of his heir Napoleon II (1811-1832).
