The reason Nora does not recall the events of the original movie is because those events were erased when the game reset the timeline back to the moment when Alan got sucked into the game. The only characters who would remember those events are Alan and his wife Sarah. This is similar to how Spencer, Martha, Fridge, and Bethany are the only ones who remember the timeline where Alex was missing for 20 years.
