The jail was a movie set built construction attached to a real-life building. It was adjoined to the famous Odeon Hall in Dayton, Nevada. This is the same location where the paddle ball and bar interior scenes were shot in the Marilyn Monroe movie "Gli spostati (1961)." This is situated on the corner of West Main Street and Pike Street (on the Lincoln Highway).
