The shooting model for Gorkon's flagship, Kronos One, was a redress of the K'Tinga class cruiser model originally built for Star Trek (1979). When this was brought out of storage this needed a new paint job. ILM model maker Bill George and his team gave the ship a new, more ornate color scheme with metallic accents. They also upgraded the model with green internal lighting for the warp nacelles.
