During the last two seasons of the "Super Friends" Show (1984's Superfriends: The Legendary Super-Powers Team and 1985's Super-Powers Team:The Galactic Guardians) Wonder Woman is cast mostly as a damsel in distress and the object of Darkseid's affections and obsessions. This is very different from how she is portrayed at the beginning of the series as very tough and independent.
