The opening credits sequence for Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) was originally supposed to feature the hockey mask exploding into the title of the movie, however, due to a time crunch and pressure from director Joseph Zito to release the film by Friday the 13th, work on this opening sequence remained incomplete.
