The Kahr K9, an all stainless steel 9mm handgun made in Massachusetts, and used by Jodie Foster's character, Erica, was actually a handgun approved for off- duty carry by NYPD. It is no longer authorized because of the trigger pull being too light. Donnie Wahlberg's character, Det. Danny Reagan, uses an identical handgun in Blue Bloods (2010).
