This movie was filmed on Stage 2 in Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, the same stage on which Mary Poppins (1964) was shot. The stage has since been named in honor of Dame Julie Andrews, who starred in both movies. The rental house in which Andrews lived while filming Mary Poppins (1964) was lived in by Garry Marshall while filming this movie.
