Orson Welles narrated trailers for this film. Director Robert Wise was also the editor on Welles' masterpiece Quarto potere (1941), and participated in the reediting and reshooting of Welles' follow-up, L'orgoglio degli Amberson (1942). Because of the latter issue, Welles held a long-standing grudge against Wise, and thus it was perceived that Welles only recorded the trailers because he needed the money.
