The ending shot at LAX was filmed on an actual approach runway. However the differences are that the lights do not brighten when a plane is approaching, the location has changed a bit, the boxes have been removed, the Instrument landing system (ILS) tower on the field has been removed and moved further down the runway, and the runway has been shifted towards the left a bit. The field however and the lights are still there.
