Bill doesn't tie his necktie correctly and he also ties Joe's tie incorrectly. A properly tied necktie features an extra turn and tuck so that the knot forms a perfectly balanced triangle. As is clearly seen when Bill loosens his tie during the board meeting, the top of his knot is slanted. While an impressive percentage of the population does it in the same, crooked way, a billionaire such as Bill Parrish would certainly know how to do it correctly.
