When Lex Luthor begins naming off the powers he could have once he harnesses the energy of the orange kryptonite, he mentions throwing energized playing cards. This is a reference to the Marvel Comics hero, Gambit from the X-Men. Gambit can charge energy through his fingers and his weapon of choice is throwing electrified playing cards.
