Moneypenny phones Bond, when he is at Oxford university, and tells him to be at the Ministry of Defence in 30 minutes. Oxford is over 50 miles from central London. There is no way that Bond could drive there in his Aston Martin in only 30 minutes. Even his initial offer of 1 hour would require significantly breaking the speed limit for the entire journey. It actually takes about 1 hour & 45 minutes to drive between those 2 points.
