Although all of the officers, including Lt. Cmdr. Quinton McHale (Ernest Borgnine), wore dress khakis, none of them wore ribbons of any kind. However, when they were in Italy, Gen. Bronson (Simon Scott) and Col. Douglas Harrigan (Henry Beckman) wore them.
