Luke Evans (Inspector Fields) is shot at Holy Cross Church, and subsequently the doctor is tending to him. The doctor uses a magnet that he says he must use to locate the bullet inside the chest before it can be removed. Bullets of the day were made with cast lead, which is non-magnetic.
