The quarry scene in Season 1, episode 2, Stranger Things: Chapter Two: The Weirdo on Maple Street (2016), is the same location used most notably in The Walking Dead (2010) episode, The Walking Dead: Vatos (2010) from Season 1. The quarry also appears in the Netflix movie Altruisti si diventa (2016), and Hunger Games: Il canto della rivolta - Parte I (2014).
