The film's closing epilogue reads: ''In the final years of the war, the secret Alsos Mission saw Allied soldiers crossing into enemy territory to secure scientists and data for the Manhattan Project. Scientists were drafted from many sources. However, one Polish physicist, Prof. Joseph Rotblat, was the only scientist to resign for moral reasons. He later campaigned against the use of nuclear weapons, ultimately being awarded the Nobel Peace prize.
