After seeing this film, Australian chef Johnny Di Francesco (a huge fan of the Turtles) created his own 99-cheese pizza. Di Francesco melted down 94 different cheeses (including gorgonzola, pecorino and Taleggio) and then chilled them into a single block that contained them all; he then topped the pizza with five fresh cheeses to bring the total to 99 (buffalo mozzarella, goat cheese, fior di latte, ricotta and raspadura). Di Francesco traveled to Sydney to present the pie to Paramount, who made him a guest of honor of the launch of the film's DVD and Blu-ray release.
