The pilot droids seen piloting civilian spacecraft on this show are RX-24 "Rex" droids, one of which was the pilot on the old Star Tours (1987) ride at Disney Parks (prior to the ride's renovation). Paul Reubens, who voiced the droid on the old ride, reprised the role in at least one appearance on this show. The droid model's nickname of "Rex" was not used on this show, most likely to avoid confusion with the Clone Soldier of the same name.
