There was a pitched scene to director David Yates about a possible cameo of the Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) that returns to save Ron from a pair of Death Eaters that corner him during the battle, but was scrapped because it seemed childish, and the car would quite possibly be destroyed in the forest by now.
