When prosthetic makeup is involved in a job, Makeup artists understand more than most how challenging it can be for an actor to endure. However, when asked about Reynolds' tolerance for the process, Bill Corso applauded his attitude. "He couldn't have been better. I mean, he would come in, he would joke, but he would always sit still. He was always in good spirits. I gotta hand it to him. He went through a lot, and even on days where we had to enhance the makeup and add things to it, he was excited about it. He was fantastic."
