In Series 2, Episode 2's "Space Invaders" sketch. Rowan Atkinson and Griff-Rhys Jones (Playing duck hunters) shoot at the space aliens from the classic video game of the same name. The same year the fourth and final season was broadcast, a Disney science fiction fantasy adventure film called Tron (1982) was released in cinemas. The movie starred Jeff Bridges as a rogue computer programmer who enters a digital universe where computer programs fight to the death as gladiators in video games.
