Dewey watches Gale as an anchor for Good Morning America (1975). Before he turns the TV off, Gale signs off making a joke about how she hopes to never have bangs again, and if she tries, someone should stop her. This is, of course, a reference to Gale's hairstyle in Scream 3 (2000) - a look that fans have derided for years (and even became a meme in the 2010s).
