The very first action-oriented series to be premiered on Cartoon Network when the show was canceled. However, there was another action cartoon, Le avventure di Johnny Quest (1996), produced by Cartoon Network, was canceled when the show had 52 episodes and didn't renew for a third season. There were no action shows to be premiered on Cartoon Network until Samurai Jack (2001), the first action-oriented series to be made for Cartoon Network Studios after two shows were both canceled until it was picked up by Toonami a few years later.
