At the end of the film, Fei plays a tune on an accordion. The tune is a small fragment from 'Les temps des cerises', a 1886 French song by Antoine Renard and Jean-Baptiste Clément. Interestingly enough, that song is prominently featured in the 1992 Studio Ghibli film Porco Rosso.
