Tone Loc actually got really sick from the food in Thailand. Thailand wasn't a big movie-making country, so the caterers weren't professional caterers for movies. Every single day, they would have a huge vat of rice and some vegetables and meats (and the actors weren't sure what meats they were). Tone would come to the set in the morning and there'd be materials to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He'd make between 5 and 10 of them and then go back to his trailer. That was what he ate.
