In a deleted scene, Grace hires Peggy Roberts, Dickie's mother (played by Doris Roberts), to come see her son. She revealed she spent a lot of money to get her there. After she makes a brief rant, Dickie responds by saying he'll throw up, meet her in the lobby, then give her cab money. This would be Doris Roberts' only other appearance in the film besides the E! True Hollywood Story (1996) opening. However, she is still listed in the opening credits.
