Once the ninth and final season began, Joan Collins didn't appear in every episode, she wanted more money because she wasn't being paid enough. She wasn't being paid, the way everybody else was making, so she asked for more money, consequently, they held out, and when they held out, yet, the producers wouldn't give her more money, she refused to go back right away, claiming back trouble or something then finally after a few episodes aired they came to an agreement.
