Famke Janssen and Jeremy Renner have both starred as superheroes in Marvel films. Renner playes Hawkeye in Disney's "Avengers" films and Jannsen played Jean Grey/the Phoenix in Marvel and Fox's X-Men movies, however Disney bought out Fox (2019) and now has control over both. Previously, the only character to have permission in both series was Quick Silver, although FOX forbid the use the word "mutant". The Avengers used "enhanced".
