One unmade episode called "The Midnight Hour" (based on a 1980's Teen Titans comic with Nightwing but altered to feature Robin), would have seen Batman being captured by a drug lord, who would auction him off. to the highest bidder. The winner would have the honor of unmasking and murdering Batman in front of the criminals of Gotham. Robin would use his detective skills to find Batman and save him. It's unknown why this was unmade, as it gave Robin a starring role--something FOX had constantly asked for.
