In keeping with the Biblical themes, "Josephat" is a common shortened version of Jehoshaphat. The biblical Jehoshaphat was a priestly king of ancient Judah, known for generally being a good and fair leader, and learning from his mistakes. A fitting moniker for Freder's friend who gets fired by Joh Fredersen.
