Drew Barrymore, who famously portrayed the franchise's opening victim Casey Becker in Scream (1996) is the voice of the Woodsboro High School Principal, announcing the curfew following Tara's attack by Ghostface. Her character Casey and boyfriend Steven Orth's murders, and Sidney Prescott's attack by Ghostface led the 1996 Woodsboro High School principal Arthur Himbry to announce also by school intercom a student curfew. Principal Himbry also was Becker and her boyfriend's succeeding murder by Ghostface.
