Derek Jacobi portrayed a monarch who struggled with speech problems in Claudius (1976). Jacobi played another stutterer, Alan Turing (an Allied genius in World War II), in Breaking the Code (1996). Jacobi also starred in L'altro delitto (1991), in which a character's stammer plays a role in the plot.
