The character of Gregory Goyle, while appearing in a few scenes, is largely absent from this movie. This was due to Josh Herdman injuring his arm and being unable to film certain scenes. Bronson Webb was cast as an unnamed Slytherin boy (referred to as "Pike" in the script) who filled Goyle's role in those scenes.
