The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. lair facility Headquarters in the desert, set inside the grounded remnants of a partial meteorite crater, which is reminiscent of the gigantic hollowed out volcano base in Agente 007 - Si vive solo due volte (1967). The crater scene was filmed near Erfoud, Morocco in a extinct volcano, a location which had previously been used for La mummia (1999).
