The convenience store that gets robbed at the start of the movie is called 'Good Times Groceries'. This is a reference to the movie Good Time (2017), which made director Matt Reeves write the script with Robert Pattinson in mind after he saw his performance. The robber who is disguised as a Drop Head is also wearing a red jacket similiar to the one Pattinson's character is wearing while robbing a bank in Good Time (2017).
