Jasmine Guy, Darryl Bell, and Kadeem Hardison starred on the show. Tisha Campbell appeared in two episodes as Josie Webb, an HIV-positive student. Roger Guenveur Smith appeared in five episodes as Professor Howard Randolph, an African-American History professor.
