The third film in the DCEU to reference Italy's Ancient Roman past. When the Dreamstone is revealed to have caused the disappearance of King Romulus in 716 B.C. and led to the assassination of the last Roman Emperor, who allegedly had it in his possession in 476 A.D. In Aquaman (2018), the statue of King Romulus appears when Arthur Curry and Mera were in Erice, Sicily. In Shazam! (2019), Freddy Freedman references the Romans to Billy Batson.
